According to the 2001 census, there are around 850,000 (17%) Catholics and
2,450,000 (49%) Protestants in the population.
There are 100/850,000 = 11.76 abuses of Catholics per 100,000 of Catholic
population and
57 / 2,450,000 = 2.32 abuses of Protestants per 100,000 of Protestant
population.
Catholics are therefore 5 times as likely, to be the victims of a
religiously aggravated crime.
