The leaders of the Catholic Church in Scotland and England and Wales have today sent out an Open Letter on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the 1967 Abortion Act to the Catholic community in Great Britain. The letter signed by Cardinal Keith O'Brien, President of the Bishops' Conference of Scotland and Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, President of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales will be made available to all Dioceses and parishes.
