PRESS & RESEARCH OFFICER  

The Catholic Media Office is currently looking for a dynamic  
and skilled communicator able to fill the role of Press & Research  
Officer in our Glasgow office. The post holder must be able to  
demonstrate a thorough, practical understanding of the media  
and display high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.  
They must also be able to write high-quality copy to tight deadlines.  

Additionally, they will be a highly organized self-starter who can  
communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Computer  
literacy is essential as is a demonstrable interest in and understanding  
of the work of the Catholic Church in Scotland. A willingness to  
undertake training as required and to work flexible hours occasionally  
is also expected. Previous experience in a press office and familiarity  
with Mac OS and Filemaker Pro are desirable but not essential.
