...Cardinal O'Brien announces new rector for Pontifical Scots College in Rome.  Speaking from the Scots College in Rome, Cardinal Keith O'Brien today announced that Fr. Philip Tartaglia would be the new college rector.  Speaking to the college community he said;  "It gives me great pleasure to advise you that the Congregation for Catholic Education have appointed Fr. ...The Bishops' Conference of Scotland have announced the appointment of a new rector and a new Vice-rector for the Scots College in Rome  The Holy See has appointed Father Paul Milarvie as rector of the Scots College and the Bishops' Conference have appointed Father Francis Dougan as vice-rector.  Fr Paul Milarvie currently holds the post of Vice rector and so will remain in Rome, while Father Dougan will transfer from Our Lady and St. Anne's Parish in Hamilton later this month.  Commenting on his appointment, Fr Dougan who is also chaplain to Holy Cross High School in Hamilton said: "It is exciting but a  bit daunting at the same time.
