We learned how the media is an amazingly influential opinion former in our culture, as every moment of the Pope s visit was reported, analysed and broadcast to the whole world in print and through radio, television and the internet. Before the visit, someone remarked that the Pope s visit would be a success if the media declared it to be a success.
