Pax Christi Scotland launches with inaugural conference in Glasgow

Wednesday 14 November     Pax Christi Scotland, a newly-formed peace project, will officially launch later this month (23-25 November) with its inaugural conference at the Conforti Centre in Coatbridge, hosted and funded by the Xaverian Missionaries.       Its mission is to promote peace in the family, the school, the parish, and the wider community. Bishops' Conference appoints new General Secretary

10 December 2018     The Bishops of Scotland have appointed Fr Jim Grant to be the new General Secretary of the Bishops' Conference. Fr Grant is currently Parish Priest of Holy Family Parish in Mossend, Bellshill in the Diocese of Motherwell. Memorial Mass marks 30th anniversary of Lockerbie bombing

20 December 2018   On the 30th anniversary of the Lockerbie Air Disaster, Holy Trinity RC Church, Lockerbie will be open tomorrow (Friday 21 December) from 10am to allow visitors to call in for quiet reflection, to light a memorial candle or to have a chat and a cup of tea.
