The Episcopal Ordination of Fr William Nolan as the new Bishop of Galloway will take place at the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock on Saturday 14 February 2015 at 11am. Fr. Nolan was appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Galloway in November 2014 by Pope Francis and will be ordained at the ceremony in Kilmarnock on 14 February, by Archbishop Leo Cushley, Archbishop of St. Andrews & Edinburgh. European Media Conference comes to Glasgow 16 - 19 November

The annual meeting of Media Officers and Spokespersons of the Catholic Bishops' Conferences of Europe (CCEE) meets in Glasgow from 16 - 19 November, the first time the gathering has been held in Scotland. Representatives from over 25 European Bishops' Conferences will attend to discuss the theme: "Communicating the Christian message where commonly shared values are lacking".   The meeting of Media Officers, will be expanded on Thursday 17 November when delegates will be joined by Bishops responsible for communications across Europe.
